Here is the view from our window:
This was about the third day that we had had snow. Previously, it snowed overnight and then stopped in the morning - but on this day it was still coming down pretty heavily when we woke up, so we decided to walk down to the sea front to take a look.
For some reason, I got a big kick out of this snow covered Smart car. Looking at it now, it doesn't seem so funny:
The sea wasn't frozen (that would have been something!) but the rocks were all covered, which is kind of a weird site, since even now I don't associate the "seaside" with the cold. Any way, here are a few more photos. We didn't attempt any snow ball fights or snow men, although I think some others managed it.

thanks for the pics.....it was great to see u guys...
it is really neat to see pics now since we have been there....
Looks good. Is it all gone now?
Yes, it's all definitely gone around us, and I think everywhere else too. I was amazed at how long it stayed on the fields and places like that around us and around Bristol.
It has really warmed up (high 40s to mid 50s) so anything that was there even a couple of days ago is probably melted by now. It was nice while it lasted, and even nicer to have meetings cancelled because of it - the office even closed one day (the day of those photos), so it was just like a snow day from school!
