We had our 20 week scan last week and I'm pleased to report that all is well. Everything is average and we love average. The only thing that was a little bit towards one end of the average spectrum was the baby's stomach, but considering its mother's predilections, that
is perhaps not a surprise.
is perhaps not a surprise.
Due date is 22 July. We found out the gender, but as with Ada, we're going to keep that to ourselves.
I'm feeling fine - they say every pregnancy is different, but so far this one is proceeding exactly as before. Except for having a toddler, of course. I'm a bit more tired and my back hurts a little more, but that's most likely just a result of wrangling Ada.
We haven't really started talking to Ada about having a sibling, since we have 20 more weeks to go and that's a long time for her. She does seem to be interested in babies in general, which I'm encouraging, and she does occasionally answer "yes" to the question "would you like a baby to come live with us?"
So all is well, and we're halfway through!

I think it's a girl. Because I want it to be a boy. And of course, my inner thought processes are what determines the gender.
I'm glad the two of you are doing well.
Just make sure you switch to "We're having a baby come live with us" before Ada changes her mind!
yay!!!
i definitely think it's a boy!
