Ada and guacamole.

I finally discovered how to make guacamole so Ada likes it (for now). A lot of lime juice, some chopped green onion, nothing else but avocado. Which isn't really guacamole, but if she eats it, I'm happy.

wait, wait, wait. why isn't that guacamole?

that's how i always make "guacamole" -- avacado, lime juice and onion powder. and here i thought i was making it the way dad makes it.

Oops. Sorry. I guess I was thinking it wasn't real guacamole unless it also has some type of 'heat' even though it doesn't taste hot - cayenne pepper or Tabasco - plus garlic. But I think that I was wrong - I guess it's guacamole as soon as there's something in it besides avocado. I was just trying to work out if we went to a Mexican restaurant if Ada would eat that guacamole.

Whether she will eat it at a restaurant has nothing to do with anything except whether she will eat it at a restaurant or not on that particular moment of that event.
C'mon, you've been a mother long enough to know that!!!
