Cornwall.

Last weekend to celebrate our birthdays we went down to Sennen Cove, Cornwall, which is down at the very south west corner of England, near Land's End. It was wet and windy most of the time but we had a nice trip. Ada seemed to enjoy it, too; she liked splashing in puddles, which there were plenty of. She mostly wanted to watch 101 Dalmatians on the iPad on repeat.

Ada's first kite

Crazy waves crashing OVER the cliff - see the video below

Here's some video from our time there - some of it is Ada but mostly it's the waves, which were particularly impressive:

whoa...nice waves! especially at the end of the video.

ada in the red jumpsuit reminds me of the little kid in Snowy Day book. she just needs the little thing on top of her head!

puddle splashing is the best! nice that you all have the proper attire...

happy birthday wishes to the kick off of your birthday week/month!

Wow.....thanks for sharing....curious about Mark's comment about Ada's bed.....was she in a regular bed? Mimi

I was there! I believe this is a reference to bunk beds in Ada's room, which she had lots of fun climbing all over. Especially when she realised she was taller than Mark if she sat on the top bunk...
