Today Ada woke up feeling poorly. Mark was "on duty" this morning (we take turns in the mornings on the weekends) and he was faced with a lot of unpleasantness in a short period of time. We're not sure if it was food poisoning or a virus, but Ada couldn't keep anything down and wasn't completely out of sorts, just extra sensitive. But it seems that whatever it was, it's already been and mostly gone because by the end of the day she was pretty much back to normal, and ate a decent dinner. She's in bed now, coughing a little bit but mostly sleeping. We'll see what tomorrow brings!
At the beginning, she was sad and puny.

Then we started watching Timmy Time.

Thanks, Netflix!

More sad and puny

Moved Timmy Time to the iPad. Ate a little bit of rice cake.

Managed to keep it down. This is progress.

Since she could now keep things down, we tried some kids ibuprofen.

This made a big difference. Hello, world!
And back to normal - a pre-dinner visit to the park:

Secretly we kind of enjoy it in a way when the kids are just "poorly." They are the most cuddly!
Of course, we pay for it, the next day when they are feeling better and cranky.
For me, it was the best. I got to cuddle, didn't have to deal with very much of the "fluids" and she wasn't so sick that I was worried. Score!
